A group known as Concerned Group for Indigent and Talented Youth has called for support for Abdulgafar Opeyemi Adeniran now popularly known as “Calculator Boy“
The group according to of them Omoba Abiola Ogundeko, in a statement signed by him and made available to us narrated how the team took a long distance drive to meet Abdulgafar Adeniran at his home town. His full statement read thus:
Concerned Group for Indigent & Talented Youths CG4ITY FOR ABDULGAFAR on behalf of concerned Nigerians at both home and abroad led a team of fact-finding mission to Atagba Community Grammar School, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
The fact-finding mission gave us an opportunity to meet directly with the “calculator genius”, Abdulgafar Adeniran, his academic guardians and family members. We were availed with helpful information about him. Master Abdulgafar is established to be an orphan with some health challenges. We rounded up the meeting with the Oluyole local government education authority for
Oyo State Ministry of Education.
It was also unanimously agreed by Oluyole local government education authority, Atagba Community Grammar School’s Management, his immediate family members and Concerned Group for Indigent & Talented Youths (CG4ITY) that any individuals, organizations or associations that are interested in giving him any kind of support, either for MEDICAL, SOCIAL WELFARE AND EDUCATION should be doing that through his dedicated bank account – Name: Abdulgafar

Alternatively, if anyone has gift items, like foods, drinks or any other consumable for him, should take those items directly to his former school, Atagba Community Grammar School, Atagba, off Alapini Mosque, Boluwaji Street, Atagba, Ibadan, Oyo State and deliver to the School’s Principal for onward delivery of those items to the beneficiary, Abdugafar.

For sincerity, transparency, prudence and financial auditing, Oyo State Ministry of Education, through the Education Authority, Oluyole Local Government has agreed to be working closely with “CONCERNED GROUP FOR INDIGENT & TALENTED YOUTHS”.
The support group shall come up with a blueprint/action plan on short term, mid term and long term rehabilitation support plans for him.
