A group known as Concerned Nigerians Support Group for Abdulgafar is seeking support for young Calculous genius, Master Abdulgafar Adeniran who has exhibited an uncommonly huge knowledge in the subject.
In a chat with our Editorial team, one of the members of the group, Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko disclosed they chose to seek out the boy and resolved to assist him having discovered his proficiency in the subject and also learnt about his worrisome state of health.
Ogundeko said they were concerned about Abdulgafar’s issues because they feared his state of health could adversely affect his unique and rare gift in the area of calculous as they found out he was suffering health challenged diagnosed to be epilepsy.
Omo’ba Ogundeko’s speech read in full:
On behalf of Concerned Nigerians both at home and abroad, on Friday, 18th November, 2022, I led a team of fact-finding mission from Abeokuta, Ogun State to Atagba Community Grammar School, Off Alapini Mosque, Boluwaji Street, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
The reasons for the fact-finding mission were to know: who was involved; what exactly happened, where did it happened, when did it happened, why did it happened and how can it be treated/corrected?
The fact-finding mission to Atagba Community Grammar School, Atagba, Ibadan, Oyo State gave us a rare opportunity to meet directly with the “calculator genius called Abdulgafar Adeniran, his former school’s Principal, Vice Principal, Mathematics Teacher and Teachers of other subjects for more important and helpful information about him. Master Abdulgafar is an orphan and suffering from health condition diagnosed to be epilepsy.
We also met, interacted and interviewed his immediate family members – uncles and guardians, Chairman, PTA, Atagba Community High School, Atagba for more objective and information about his current health challenge and numerics/calculating prowess. We rounded up our fact-finding visit at the office of the Local Inspector of Education at Oluyole Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria.
It was concluded that, henceforth, Master Abdulgafar Adeniran’s issue must be handled with care and shouldn’t be further exposed unnecessarily to any unauthorized individuals, organizations or associations, except authorized by Oyo State Ministry of Education, through the Oluyole local government education authority.
It was also unanimously agreed by Oluyole local government education authority, Atagba Community Grammar School’s Magement, his immediate family members and Concerned Nigerians Support Group that, any individuals, organizations or associations that were interested in giving him any kind of support, either for MEDICAL, SOCIAL WELFARE AND EDUCATION should be doing that through his dedicated bank account – Name: Abdulgafar
