SOMOLU LG CHAIRMAN, OTHERS INAUGURATED INTO APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL

As the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, gears up for campaign activities, the ALGON President, Hon. Kolade Alabi-led Local Governments Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council earlier today in Abuja inaugurated members of the directorate.

Inaugurated members of the Directorate included the Council Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu (Dullar); the immediate past Council Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Hon. Sulaimon Omoyele (Oris) and others.

The Director of the Local Governments Directorate, Hon. Kolade Alabi has vowed to take the campaign of all the candidates of the ruling party to all the nooks and crannies of Nigerian including the grassroots.

Membership of the directorate, included amongst others: the National President of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) and Council Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Hon. Kolade Alabi, and the Nigeria Local Government experts as well as veterans like: Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu, Somolu LG Chairma; Hon. Segun David Odumbaku, Ojodu LCDA Chairman; Hon. Sulaimon Omoyele Oris, Former Council Chairman of Bariga LCDA and former Chairman of Conference57 Chairmen, and many others across Nigerian states and local governments.

Speaking after the inauguration, Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu told newsmen that they were hitting the ground running for the campaign to ensure massive and historical victory for the Presidential Candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Kashim Shetima, all governorship, senatorial, house of representatives and state assemblies candidates.

He added that he was very sure that the forthcoming elections would earn the All Progressives Congress party more states and legislators nationwide, because according to him more Nigerians were willing to deliver a resounding victory to usher in the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government into Nigeria in 2023.
