The Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Olusegun Ogunleye has sent his warm felicitations to Hon. Olabisi Adesina on his election as the Chairman, Board of Directors, Lagos Airport Hotel.
Ogunleye, according to a release from his Media Office described the election as a well-deserved elevation and expressed confidence in Adesina’s capability to turn around the fortunes of the hotel and improve on its present enviable status.
“I have no doubt in my mind of your competence to take the hotel to greater heights, judging by your wealth of experience garnered over the years, as a successful businessman, thoroughbred administrator, and reputable socialite. I believe that your rich private sector background and wide political contacts and social network will be brought to bear in your new assignment,” said the Chairman.
Hon. Ogunleye therefore prayed and wished the Chairman, a successful tenure of office.
Hon. Adesina, an APC chieftain from Iperu Remo, Ogun State, was early in the year appointed by Governor Dapo Abiodun, as the Ogun State nominee into the board of the Lagos Airport Hotel, a subsdidiary of the Odua Group of Companies, jointly owned by the South West States of Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, and Lagos.
He was elected at the board meeting held on Wednesday, succeeding Princess Olufunke Olugboji, Ondo State representative on the board whose 2-year tenure has just lapsed.
