Ogun State governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Councils of the two State–owned Universities and Six Polytechnics.
A statement issued in Abeokuta by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi, said “the appointees are men of proven track record in their respective fields”.
He expressed the Governor’s confidence in the apointees to raise the standards of these institutions and positon the state, not only as the education capital of the country, but also as the education centre of excellence in Nigeria.
