Professor Abayomi Arigbabu, Ogun State Commissioner for Education; Professor Adeleke Oduwaye of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Lagos and Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin, Co-Chairman of Remo Growth and Development Foundation will be leading discussions at the maiden Leadership Workshop holding today, Friday at Remo Secondary School (RSS) Sagamu Remo.
Other eminent personalities billed to also deliver lectures at this event are, His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas who is also the Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remo land, and Engineer Adeola Sosanwo, immediate past President of RESSO.
At this Leadership Lecture organised by the Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King led Remo Secondary School Old Students Association, Professor Arigbabu will be speaking on, “Partnership for Progress: School, State and the Alumni” while Professor Oduwaye will address, “Passing the Baton: Sustaining Visionary Leadership across Generation”. Otunba Lawal-Solarin handles “Community Development through Good Leadership”. Oba Ajayi will be speaking on, “Challenges and Benefits of Transformational Leadership while Engineer Sosanwo will dwell on the topic, “Good Leadership: a Panacea for sustaining RSSOSA Vision”.
The twin occasion will also see Oba Babatunde Ajayi commission the newly renovated Remo Secondary School Old Students Association Secretariat named in his honour
The leadership of RSSOSA has urged old students community and invited guests to attend promptly as the workshop promises to be thought provoking, mind-edifying, developmentally challenging as it will, no doubt address the mirage of problems buffeting any developing nation, particularly Nigeria. The event will hold inside the auditorium the school premises, Sagamu, commencing from 12.00. Attendance is strictly by invitation.
