Ex-power Minister in Nigeria, Barth Nnaji has said that Nigerians might not be able to enjoy regular power supply until the country was able to meet the desire requirement in power generation.
The former Minister said this while addressing journalists on Friday in Enugu.
According to him, “Nigeria needs over 100,000 megawatts of power to address the persistent power crisis in Nigeria and put an end to Perennial Blackout”, Nnaji explained.
He attributed the problem in the sector to the supply value chain, stressing that the country had challenges in generation, transmission and distribution of power.
