Come and invest in Kusumodi Igbore, a community with an expanse land, proactive and forward-looking leader, warm people who receptive and accommodating.
The Baale of the town who is also the Luwoye Egba, Chief Alli Balogun who made this call during an exclusive interview with our Editor recently stated that all sons and daughters of the town in particular and Igbore in general, as well as well meaning people from all walks of life should come take advantage of the ambiance and proximity of the land to the Abeokuta, capital of Ogun State.
Chief Balogun stressed, “I’m using this platform to beg indigenes located far and near, non indigenes, investors all over world who crave for development to come and join hands with me and the goods people of the town to develop it and bring back Kusumodi’s lost glory”.
Chief Balogun disclosed that Kusumodi was a large and thickly populated ancient community in late 60s before the people migrated to other developed towns and cities, as it were, for golden fleece which led to its fall and interspersing the remaining people of the village.
He said people should come settle there, because according to him people could live there and do their businesses in big towns, particularly Ogun State capital, Abeokuta which is just a few minutes drive away from Kusumodi Igbore town.
“Our village, Kusumodi is located in mile 8, after Alagada town, close to Oba/Erin. It is just 30 minutes drive to and fro Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY)”,
Chief Balogun added.
“Kusumodi ti di otun’ literally meaning Kusumodi has become a new village as he urged people to feel free to visit for fact finding mission in order to available themselves of serenity of Kusumodi, stressing that if he could leave Lagos and other urban area where he had his investments and properties to settle in Kusumodi, they too wouldn’t have anything to loose joining him and the other good people of village.
