Onipara of Ipara Remo, His Royal Highness, Oba Taiwo Taiwo will on Friday, January 7, 2022 installed Olukoya Awosanya and his wife as Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ipara Remo.
According to a statement issued today by Chief of Staff to Onipara Ipara Remo, Omoba Abiola Ogundeko, Onipara of Ipara Remo said the choice of Olukoya Awosanya and his wife Mrs. Abosede Olukoya as Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ipara Remo respectively was due to their socio-economic contributions to the development of Ipara Remo through youths, women empowerment, and community development projects.
The statement stated that the official and traditional installation of the couple with their chieftaincy titles would come up tomorrow, Friday, 7th January, 2022 by 10am at the Onipara’s palace, Ipara Remo, while the chieftaincy ceremony and entertainment of invited guests would come up on Saturday, 8th January, 2021 at United Primary School field, Ipara Remo, Ogun State from 12noon.
The statement partly reads: On behalf of my wife, Olori Afolake Taiwo, Onipara-Council, Ipara Remo Council of Baales, Ipara Remo Community Development Association, Ipara Remo Indigenes in Diaspora and all sons and daughters of Ipara Remo both at home and in Diaspora, I, Oba Taiwo Taiwo, Onipara Ipara Remo, Amororo 11 congratulate Chief Olukoya and Abosede Awosanya as they become Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ipara Remo. It is indeed with profundity of joy that I congratulate them and wish them well.
