The member representing Umuahia South Constituency of Abia State House of Assembly and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Jerry Uzosike, has congratulated Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji on the conferment of traditional chieftaincy titles on them by the traditional ruler of Eziama Ntigha Ancient Kingdom and the Chairman, Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Majesty, Eze Ndubuisi Nwabeke.
Recall that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji bagged the Chieftaincy titles of “Ikoro Ukwu Abia” and Ubazuoke Nke Ndi Abia” at a well attended 70th birthday and 22 years coronation Anniversary of Eze Ndubuisi Nwabeke on the throne as Eze Amara 1 of Eziama Ntigha Ancient Kingdom in Isiala Ngwa North local government area of Abia state.
While congratulating the Governor and the Abia Assembly Speaker, which contained in a release issued to journalists in Unuahia, the state capital, on Tuesday, Hon Uzosike, described the traditional titles bestowed on the two illustrious sons of Abia, as well- deserved and meritorious, emphasising that the duo have demonstrated uncommon leadership, pointing out their overwhelming strides in Infrastructure Development, youth, women and men empowerment programmes.
According to the project-oriented lawmaker, “their famed philanthropic gestures have greatly and positively impacted humanity within and beyond, as the entire Abia has recorded overwhelming transformations in every facets of the economy.
He noted that Governor Ikpeazu and Rt Hon Chinedum Orji have ushered in incomparable and unprecedented developments in all facets of governace, also added that their developmental strides have given the state a facelifts as a new destination for local and foreign business investments.
The lawmaker, particularly applauded the great things the two Abia leaders for their tremendous strides at the grassroots which has equally fostered massive development in health, education, security, road Infrastructures etc.
The President of Ogechi Cares Foundation Worldwide, on behalf of his family, friends associates, well wishers and the great people of Umuahia South Local Government Area once again felicitated with the Abia Chief Executive and number one lawmaker in the state on the honour, asking God almighty to grant them longevity of lives, wisdom and direction, as well as strengths to continue their services to the state and humanity.
Hon Uzosike, further felicitated with the revered Monarch and traditional ruler of Eziama Ntigha, Eze Nwabuisi Nwabekee on the ocassion of the celebration of his 70th birthday and 22 years coronation Anniversary, praying to God to sustain and give the respected Abia Royal father more lives and strengths on his immense efforts to enhance community development.
